Emergency care is always available for your pet. During working hours, our staff will respond to your call and assist with your emergency.
After normal working hours, our emergency service provider is Vets Now.

We have chosen to partner with Vets Now to enable us to deliver the best possible care for your pet 24 hours a day. As much as we would love to assist you, even the best vets can not be available 24 hours a day.
Vets Now are dedicated to providing emergency and critical care for pets throughout the night and over weekends. Vets Now staff only work outside normal working hours ensuring they are fresh and ready to see your pet whilst our own vets are off duty.

Give the clinic a call and their team will be ready to provide help and advice for your pet, and will be ready to see you at their surgery, if required. If you do need to go down to the clinic, please take any medication that your pet is on with you.
Can I telephone just for advice?
Of course you can. Vets Now staff are able to give you advice over the phone and they will tell you if they feel it is safe for your pet to wait until the morning to see your own vet. Rest assured the staff will always be happy to see you.
Where is the clinic? Can I just turn up?
Vets Now in Northampton is located less than 2 miles from the Animal Medical Centre. They operate from the Vet savers / PDSA clinic.

Can the vet come to my house?
House visits are occasionally necessary, but in nearly all situations the best possible care for your pet is available at the Vets Now clinic. Taking your pet to the clinic allows immediate access to a range of drugs and equipment needed start treatment. The Vets Now staff will be able to advise on the safe transport of your pet to the clinic.
How do I pay for the service?
Payment should be made at the time of treatment. They accept cash, credit and debit cards. If your pet is insured, this may cover the cost.
